Playground Inspection

Our inspection programme is designed specifically for those who own or operate a children’s fixed equipped playground.

Our client portfolio includes the Public, Private and Voluntary sectors in the UK and ROI, ranging from Local Authorities, and Education and library Boards, to Private Schools, and Private Housing Developments. We work with those responsible for improving the quality, safety and longevity of their play areas.

Our playground inspections include:

We inspect playgrounds and play equipment for compliance with the requirements of EN 1176. We also inspect all other aspects of the site such as fencing, paths, and ancillary items. On completion of our inspection you will a receive a comprehensive inspection report, detailing all aspects of compliance or failure for each item of equipment. This report also includes a schedule of required maintenance work.

Playground inspections are recommended by the HSE and are generally regarded as ‘best practice’ within the industry. If there is an accident on one of your sites your position is considerably weakened if you don’t undertake such management.

Our inspection reports will be the first point of call in the event of a pending compensation claim.
